Getting Started

❓ How do I create an account?

Click "Connect Wallet" on the login page and connect your Web3 wallet (MetaMask recommended). Your wallet address will be your unique account identifier. No email or password required!

❓ Is Squad Ops free to play?

Yes! Squad Ops is completely free to play. You can earn Credits through gameplay (Work, Fortune, Missions) and use them for all core gameplay features. Optional $SQUAD tokens (future feature) provide quality-of-life benefits but NEVER combat advantages.

❓ What are Credits and how do I earn them?

Credits are the soft in-game currency. Earn them through:

  • Work: ~1,000 Credits/day for simple tasks
  • Fortune: ~1,000 Credits/day for logging in
  • Missions: Complete missions for rewards
  • King of the Hill: Control the hill for hourly Credits

Gameplay

❓ How do I unlock new mercenaries?

Mercenaries can be recruited using Credits. Visit the recruitment section in-game. Higher-tier mercenaries become available as you level up and complete objectives.

❓ What is King of the Hill (KOTH)?

KOTH is a competitive PvP mode where you battle to control a strategic hill. The current controller earns Credits every hour they maintain control. Challenge the current holder to take the hill for yourself!

❓ How do guilds work?

Guilds allow players to team up, chat, and compete together. Create or join a guild to access guild-exclusive features, raids, and bonuses. Guild creation will require a small fee (to be implemented).

❓ Can I play on mobile?

Squad Ops is optimized for desktop browsers currently. Mobile support is planned for future updates. For the best experience, use Chrome, Firefox, or Edge on desktop.

Account & Technical

❓ I lost access to my wallet. Can I recover my account?

Your account is tied to your wallet address. If you lose access to your wallet, unfortunately we cannot recover your account as we don't control wallet keys. Always back up your wallet recovery phrase securely!

❓ Why can't I connect my wallet?

Common solutions:

  • Ensure you have MetaMask or a compatible wallet installed
  • Make sure your wallet is unlocked
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Check that you're not blocking pop-ups

❓ The game won't load or is frozen. What should I do?

Try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Hard refresh: Press Ctrl+F5 (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)
  • Clear browser cache and reload
  • Try a different browser
  • Disable browser extensions temporarily
  • Check your internet connection

If issues persist, contact support with details about your browser and error messages.

❓ I found a bug! How do I report it?

We appreciate bug reports! Email bugs@cyberdragon.cloud with:

  • Description of the bug
  • Steps to reproduce
  • Screenshots or error messages

Safety & Security

❓ Is Squad Ops safe?

Yes! Squad Ops uses industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, secure wallet connections, and regular security audits. We never ask for your wallet's private keys or seed phrase.

❓ How do I report a player for cheating or harassment?

Email support@cyberdragon.cloud with the player's username and description of the violation. Include screenshots if possible. We take cheating and harassment seriously and will investigate all reports.

❓ What happens if my account is banned?

Accounts may be banned for violating our Terms of Service (cheating, harassment, exploits, etc.). Bans can be temporary or permanent. If you believe your ban was in error, contact accounts@cyberdragon.cloud with details.

Common Issues & Solutions

Issue: "Transaction Failed" Error

Cause: Insufficient gas fees or rejected transaction in wallet

Solution: Ensure you have enough ETH (or relevant token) for gas fees. Check your wallet for pending transactions and confirm/reject them before trying again.

Issue: Credits Not Updating

Cause: Server sync delay or browser cache

Solution: Wait 30 seconds and refresh the page. If issue persists, clear cache or try a different browser.

Issue: Can't Complete Work or Fortune

Cause: Cooldown period active

Solution: Work and Fortune have daily cooldowns. Check the timer in-game to see when you can claim again.

Issue: Lost Items or Progress

Cause: Browser storage cleared or using different device

Solution: Game progress is tied to your wallet address and saved on our servers. Reconnect the same wallet to restore progress. If data is genuinely missing, contact support immediately.

When contacting support, please include the following information to help us assist you faster:

Essential Information:
  • Your wallet address (first and last 6 characters, e.g., 0x1234...abcd)
  • Username or in-game name
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • When the issue occurred (date and time)
  • What you were doing when the issue happened
  • Browser and operating system (e.g., Chrome on Windows 11)
  • Screenshots or error messages (if applicable)
  • Steps to reproduce the issue (if possible)

Response Times

Important: We will NEVER ask for your wallet's private key, seed phrase, or passwords. Any request for this information is a scam. Only share your public wallet address when necessary.
